The Riu Cancun is a fun place to stay with friends, featuring a beautiful beachfront and a lively atmosphere. The rooms are decent with a stunning ocean view, but there are some quirks, like a lack of privacy in the bathroom area and thin walls. While I enjoyed the buffet, the specialty dining options left much to be desired. Overall, the location is fantastic for exploring, but the service could use some improvement in communication.

I had a mixed experience at RIU Cancun. The hotel has a beautiful view and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, the room cleanliness left much to be desired with noticeable mold and dampness, which seriously affected my comfort. The dining options were enjoyable, especially the outdoor buffet overlooking the beach. Overall, while there were highlights, some significant drawbacks made the stay less than ideal.
